Catrice and Essence Event Plus a GIVEAWAY

I recently had the honour to attend my first ever blogger event, which was hosted by Cosnova team, so the people responsible for two popular brands in Europe: Essence and Catrice. Since I have only a few of my pictures of the actual event because honestly, I was more interested in the vast amount of makeup and cake pops than taking pictures (man, those were some good cake pops!) as well as I don't own an actual camera but merely a smartphone, I'm using some of the press pictures. Cosnova team prepared and executed an amazing event, they honestly outdid themselves and I was utterly shocked when, as we were leaving, they handed each two full bags of their newest products. I really love that they prepared an event only for bloggers, I have in fact been avoiding most events for the reasons it was hosted for other press as well (yes, I'm aware I'm weird), but I felt a lot less intimidated by the whole thing with other bloggers around, most of whom I've been familiar with for years or at least with their blogs (you may already know that I try to keep as up-to-date list of Slovene beauty blogs as possible). It was so wonderful to meet them, I don't think anyone has been so nice to me ever as those amazing girls and I think we all enjoyed the event immensely. I think all the others, who already wrote about the event covered everything already, so I won't bore you again with the details.
Here are the goodies we so generously received. I'll do a sort of an New In type of posts separate for Catrice and Essence as well as later do reviews of some products that I feel need a proper review. I've been working on the New In posts for the last two day and they are almost ready, so expect them shortly.

Giveaway
Since there is a lot of stuff and I have several duplicates of the products as I have been shopping the new products before (some have already been reviewed and some will be in the future, but they are all in the most recent New In), I will be giving some of the products away to thank you, dear readers, for reading my blog, subscribing, commenting and all that jazz. I decided on two goody bags with an equal amount of Catrice and Essence products. All the product will also be featured in the next two posts, so you'll have a better idea of what you're getting. Entering is just a matter of filling out the Rafflecopter forms and I decided to do it internationally, even though the shipping costs gave me a tiny heart attack, but I know so many of you want to try Catrice and Essence products. You can chose either of the prizes or both. One winner will be drawn for each prize. The giveaway is international and will end in one week on 26. October 2014 at 00:00/12:00 A.M. (CEST). The winner will be contacted via e-mail and then sent the prize. If the winner doesn't respond in two (2) days, a new winner will be chosen.

IzbrišiHave you tried the Velvet Finish foundation? I think Catrice foundations are really good, just got Nude Illusion on your recommandation and I love its finish, but it doesn't last that much on me...
OdgovoriIzbrišiI tested it for one day and I don't see much difference between Nude Illusion and this. The finish looks about the same as well as the coverage, but I can't say much about the staying power just yet (Nude Illusion lasts remarkably well on me, though I have normal skin). I will test it further, however, the shade is all wrong for me.

IzbrišiSem napisala dolg komentar, pa mi je zbiralo :( no v glavnem, super da organizirajo take evente za bloggerje, ker jim z ocenami na nek način delate reklamo :) drugače pa je moj najljubši produkt od essence trenutno lip cream iz zadnje le autumn v rdeči barvi :) je super obstojen, pa še lepe barve :)

OdgovoriIzbrišiOd Catrice redno uporabljam Defining blush in Rose Royce (ket zakaj bi uporabljala še kak drugi blush, ko je pa ta universally flattering, am I right?), njihova ta nova podlaga Nude Illusion pa me ni stoprocentno prepričala. En dan mi ful lepo izpade, naslednjega pa mi poudari suhe luskice. Nimam pojma, kaj delam narobe.
Od Essence mam dosti lakcev, ker so poceni in povsod na voljo, in pa blush brush, ker si nism še vzela časa, za nakup kakega bolj pametnega čopiča.:D
Upam, da vas nismo preveč zasule :) Sem našla kar nekaj krasnih stvari in bodo vse v New In objavah :)
IzbrišiRose Royce je tako lep, sem ga imela na eventu gor :) Mene bolj moti odtenek Nude Illusiona, ampak na meni večinoma izpade zelo lep. Sem ga sprobala na drugih in je izgledal super. Lahko da imaš dehidrirano kožo, jaz sem včasih tudi imela te luskice, pa sem se jih znebila s kremnimi čistilci in AHA tonikom :)

Izbrišiomg Mateja, i'm super super excited about this giveaway! it's so nice of you to do it!! i have a few essence products (i love their pressed powder that i use every single day) but catrice is my favorite of the two. their lipsticks are SO amazing and honestly, they do such a great job and they're super cheap = WIN/WIN. i have many catrice lipsticks but i think i need to buy the plum one from their latest collection, it looks rad!! <3

Lash Princess doda prav neverjetno veliko volumna, škoda da ne obstaja vodoodporna verzija :)

OdgovoriIzbrišiI <3 Extreme mascara is an outstanding mascara for night out, really dramatic, but not clumpy. Even my poor lashes look amazing with it.
I actually prefer Catrice's lip liners because they are a bit harder and last longer on my lips. I <3 Extreme is a pretty brilliant mascara and I wish a waterproof version existed :)

Meni je od Catrice in Essence velika večina izdelkov všeč, ker lahko za nizko ceno dobiš res dobro kozmetiko. Sploh me zadnje čase navdušujejo Lip Smootherji, Brow Definer in Filler (vse od Catrice), bi pa si zelo želela sprobat še njihove blushe (oba - iz 1. in 2. nagrade) in Ultimate Stay šminkice.. <3
Jaz tudi upam, da bodo povabili še kakšno bloggerko več, med njimi seveda tebe :) Hvala <3

IzbrišiTi si pa res pripravilačudovit giveaway. Sem se raje za 2. odločila, ker bi rada stestirala Catrice šminko, gloss in podlago. Pa še gel reči mi prav pridejo, ker si občasno naredim tudi njihov gel. :)
