*All Matt Shine Control Makeup Up
020 N Neutral Nude Beige

The particularly skin-friendly texture of the vegan foundation doesn't contain mineral oils, microplastic particles or parabens and is free of oil and alcohol. This makes it ideal for oily skin and skin prone to impurities. In addition to lasting for up to 18 hours, the mattifying make-up is also transfer-proof. Vitamin E protects the skin from free radicals and EvermatTM ensures a long-lasting, soft-matt finish. The pump allows an optimal dosage of the foundation and the cap is made of recycled plastic.

Texture: A light, yet creamy foundation that's similar in texture to for example Bourjois Healthy Mix. It's not particularly fast drying, but when I apply it with my fingers, I need to be a bit faster than usual because it can be dry already when I get to the edges of my face. With a sponge I don't have such issues and it behaves like a non-matte foundation. It blends nicely into the skin, with no visible edges despite the fact my shade is too dark for me. It doesn't slip into lines and looks nice over pores, but it doesn't hide them. For a matte foundation it's surprisingly invisible on the face.

Coverage & finish: The way I apply other foundations (for every day wear), so one pump, I get barely light coverage and with two more pumps light-medium, so this is quite a low covering foundation and circles, spots, major redness and freckles are still visible with this one. On my before/after picture it's layered for more coverage, a total of three pumps. It evens out the skin, but for more coverage you're going to have to use a high coverage concealer or another Catrice foundation such as their HD Liquid Coverage which has a lighter, watery texture, but more pigment. Finish is the promised matte on my skin when I apply it with fingers and it's a very fresh-looking matte than doesn't look draining. When I apply it with a sponge, for some reason more moisture is retained and it's not matte. I don't use powder with this foundation even if I use a more glowy spf under it, but my skin is dry. I can't say how well it holds back oils, but my skin stays matte until it's gone.

Staying power: This is where I find this formula disappoiting. At the end of the day, there's barely any traces left, so the 18h claim is overly ambitious when it comes to how it performs on my skin. There's only a bit of foundation on the cotton pad when I'm removing my makeup and the skin looks bare. It's overall gone quite quickly, but as a plus I'll say that it fades much better than a lot of matte foundations and there's no cakey patches on the sides of my nose or other places.

Shade: I think there are 14 shades of these, that's how many there are on German website and the selection here is much smaller, I guess selected to fit the needs of the local market, but I didn't check in Müller if they have lighter shades than 010 (there are three lighter in the line-up. I think we have a total selection of 5 shades here). I got sent shade 020 N Neutral Nude Beige, which is too dark for me, but due to low coverage it's not that obviously mismatched and the fact it's neutral helps too, however, my shade at Catrice is 002, which is just as at True Skin called Neutral Ivory.

Packaging & scent: Foundation is in a heavy glass packaging with a pump. It's got a smell of hay and grass.

Ingredients: aqua (water), dimethicone, talc, isododecane, butylene glycol, peg-10 dimethicone, glycerin, diatomaceous earth, polymethylsilsesquioxane, trimethylsiloxysilicate, disteardimonium hectorite, enantia chlorantha bark extract, sodium hyaluronate, tropolone, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, hydrogen dimethicone, sodium chloride, tocopheryl acetate, sodium phytate, oleanolic acid, laureth-4, aluminum hydroxide, phenoxyethanol, sodium dehydroacetate, parfum (fragrance), ci 77491 (iron oxides), ci 77492 (iron oxides), ci 77499 (iron oxides), ci 77891 (titanium dioxide).

Price: 6,59 €

I like how this foundation looks on the skin, it's very fresh and natural for a matte formula, however, coverage is low and staying power is not the best. I find it an odd addition to the line because Liquid Coverage is simply a better version of matte, high coverage formula. I never had the All Matte Plus foundation, so I can't compare them (however, I think I used it once on my cousin, who has it and I remember it as a thicker formula with more coverage) and I also don't know if this is a replacement, but I don't recall seeing the Plus version on our stands anymore, so I assume it is.

*Ultimate Camouflage Cream
010 N Ivory

The concealer has a very high coverage, is long-lasting, doesn't move and is a true miracle weapon when it comes to concealing skin impurities and redness. It is also non-comedogenic and available in several shades. It comes in a modern, purple design.

Texture: I never owned the "original" Camouflage Cream, but this is a new version of it and both are still on German website, though I don't think I've seen the old version on the stand. Karin's compared the old and new formula here (post in German). I have owned a couple of such pot concealers and to me they are all the same. It's that thick, waxy formula that drags on my dry skin, so I can only try to apply and blend it in the best I can by tapping with fingers. My body heat is not enough to make this creamy enough to not feel like a chore to blend it on the skin, but I know from reviews that people love the previous Camouflage pot and such formulas work so much better on oily skin. It's an obvious, cakey formula on me, especially when I have nothing under it, while a greasy cream under it makes it much better.

Coverage: This is full coverage and with a small amount. If you're looking for something that covers just about everything, this is it, but layering will make it more obvious.

Staying power: It holds well on the skin, however, I more have issues with how it wears. Under my eyes it starts to break up in a way and slip into lines. It's too drying to powder it, so I can't get it to stay together. On the sides of the nose it works better. I had no spots since I got it, so I couldn't test it for that.

Shade: On German's website there are 8 shades, including one called Brightening Peach which is likely a colour corrector. I believe we have only two less here, the two of the darkest shades are not included. I have the lightest 010 N Ivory, which fits my pale skin tone.

Ingredients: hydrogenated polydecene, coco-caprylate/caprate, oryza sativa (rice) cera, aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, talc, polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate, oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, silica, aqua (water), glycerin, alumina, phenoxyethanol, ci 77491 (iron oxides), ci 77492 (iron oxides), ci 77499 (iron oxides), ci 77891 (titanium dioxide).

Price: 3,09 €

Ultimate Camouflage Cream is a concealer that covers everything, but be prepared for the thick, waxy texture. I feel this is likely best suited for oily skin.

*Blush Box Glowing + Multicolour
030 Warm Soul

Looking for a beauty partner for a fresh glow? This multi-colour, powdery blush emphasizes the face with a beautiful, subtle shimmer. Simply apply on the "apple cheeks" with a powder or blush brush and blend gently towards the temples. Three different colour combinations for a radiant finish – the perfect beauty product for shimmering cheeks.

I have this formula in 020 It's Wine O'Clock, which is one of the two original shades. They added just this one, so selection is still pretty small with just three colours. Since I own one of these, I knew the formula is great, but I had this shade in my hands when I was checking new stuff on the stand and I was certain this will look like a bronzer-blush shade which tend to look orange on me, so I didn't buy it (this was later sent to me. This post is a mix of my purchases and later received PR stuff). I was very wrong, as this is a typical peachy pink shade, so in the same group as the famous NARS Orgasm, Deep Throat, Catrice's Blush Box 020 Glistening Pink and about a million others. It's one of those cute warm pinks that looks good on likely everyone and brightens up the face. Just like 020 this is a very pigmented blush, so on my skin tone, a light hand is needed. I think this one blends a bit better than 020 and I need less effort to get the edges right. Unlike at 020, at which the glow was only visible when I swatched the shade, 030 has a lovely looking glow with fine shimmer, though I would quite classify it as a typical blush-highlighter hybrid such as Essence's discontinued Blushlighters. This is my favourite product from the new stuff I got from Catrice.

Fix & Protect Spray

Protect your skin! Protection against harmful UV rays and blue light damage is about to become an integral part of the morning beauty routine thanks to this vegan spray with an SPF of 20. It not only sets make-up in place, but also offers protection from the sun's rays and the effects of blue light – and it’s also ideal for quick touch-ups during the day to refresh your make-up and provide additional protection for the skin. On top, the contained aloe vera hydrates the skin and the summery scent brings back memories of holidays. The formula doesn't contain microplastic particles, parabens and is gluten-free.

I got this for one reason: it has SPF. Yes, it's low and as a mist likely more or less useless, but I like the idea of topping sun protection at the end of applying makeup. I was willing to overlook the alcohol content if this were a nice product, but the spray of this is bad. It's sprays large droplets and the mist is not dispersed to a large enough area, so can also end up feeling wet on the face if I don't spray it from farther away than I usually do. I don't get Catrice, they have a great atomizer in the Clean ID LE, one of the best I've tried, but then they have a crappy one here. Or maybe it's the formula that's too thick for a spray, though it doesn't feel that way. It's just hard too apply this evenly all over the face. I think the finish is glowy, which given it has spf is sort of expected. It's quite fragranced with an random cosmetics scent. If the spray were better, I might like it, but now I'm disappointed. It also burns my lips for a minute (I don't apply this near my eyes, but due to spf some may experience burning there too).

Ingredients: alcohol denat., isododecane, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, octocrylene, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, panthenol, xanthophylls, aqua (water), bht, lycopene, benzyl salicylate, parfum (fragrance), coumarin, ci 14700 (red 4).

*Lash Changer Volume Mascara Waterproof

The name says it all: This mascara takes the "lash game" to a whole new level – because it combines everything a perfect eye look needs. Its texture is deep black and easy to apply thanks to the tapered fibre brush. The result: A sensational fan effect, powerful volume and perfectly separated lashes, without any clumping or fly legs. Does it also care the lashes? Sure it does, since the nourishing vegan texture also contains hyaluronic acid. The formula is free of perfume, microplastic particles, silicones and parabens. The mascara is waterproof and particularly long-lasting. A true lash changer!

I'm down to trying every waterproof mascara and I have high standards when it comes to reviewing such formulas. What caught my interest at this one is that it says easy removal on the tube and as you may know, the one thing that sucks about waterproof formulas is the removal process. It also says strong hold, which made me hopeful it'll hold a curl well. It has a classic brush that doesn't stand out and combs the lashes ok, though with more coats it shows it's no longer best for defining.

Formula is thick and still wet for my taste, which also means that you get a generous coat of the lashes quickly, hence this is a mascara for those who love volume because you get big lashes fast. However, since it's wet, I find it's not the best for holding the lashes up. On my wonky left eye, on which it's currently a nightmare to curl the lashes on, this fails, while on my better eye, it's decent, but I've had better. It takes a while for it to dry, so the lashes have time to fall while they are wet. It also disappointed me in how poorly it can fan out my lashes or hold them fanned out, as it can't fix the split I have on my left eye.

This isn't waterproof. It smudges right off under a shower - now that is warm water and "easy removal" sometimes means tubing mascara, but this smears off and doesn't get off the lashes in chunks. Having said that it's also by far the easiest waterproof mascara to remove, it's easier than even most regular formula, which is a big plus. It comes off with a regular gel cleanser. Most mascaras last well on me, with no significant problems, but at the end of the day there is a ton of fall down with this one.

I don't hate it and I might use it up because it's nice volumising, creates an effect of big lashes and it's so easy to remove, but I don't consider it a true waterproof formula, it doesn't have the promised great hold and the biggest let down is that it crumbles.

Super Boost Lash & Brow Serum

Longer, thicker and fuller-looking lashes and brows while you sleep? The Super Boost Lash & Brow Serum is about to make this dream come true. The nourishing and strengthening serum contains a complex of WidelashTM by Sederma, hyaluronic acid and provitamin B5. Used as a regular care product, it ensures fuller, longer and stronger-looking lashes and brows. Apply the light, transparent texture on the lash line and brows with the brush applicator and leave on overnight. Fuller, stronger-looking lashes and brows – easily achieved in the comfort of your own home and without a visit to the beauty salon.

This attracted my attention because it contains Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 or more accurately a complex WidelashTM by Sederma, which combines that ingredient with water, glycerine and panthenol. It's actually the same thing as in Molash serum that is on my wishlist, since so many praise it, but that one is 18 €, so I've been putting off buying it. Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 has shown a 19% increase in length and thickness of lashes after 30 days, so we'll see how this works on me. I'm now on three weeks and I don't see any results. Also because ever since I started using it, my lashes have become even more stubborn to curl. For some reason it happens to me with all growth serums, which is so awesome that ironically when I'm using such products I can't see the results because my lashes grow down or straight. This is a simple serum that doesn't irritate my eyes (it has no fragrance) or make my vision foggy (it's not oily). It has a brush applicator, which is nice to see and I like it more than eyeliner version and mascara brush I had before at such products. After it dries, mascara can be applied on top with no problems, so it can be used in the morning and night.

Lash Separator

I was in need of such tool, but I'm not completely happy with this. It doesn't look like it, but it's not dense enough and it can stick my lashes together instead of fanning them out, kind of the opposite of what I want, so it needs some extra attention when using this. I also don't like this shape of the handle being in front of the comb, it's kind of weird using it. Essence will have a sideways one, I'll likely get that one too.

Vegan Collagen Matt Lipstick
020 Be Beautiful

A lightweight, long lasting formula for matt lips in vibrant colours. The innovative texture of the new Vegan Collagen Matt Lipstick practically melts into the lips, offering a delicate feel while providing intense pigmentation. The moisturizing formula with vegan collagen, hyaluronic acid, muru muru butter and aloe vera optically plumps the lips and leaves behind a deeply nourished feeling with intense colour pigmentation. The lipstick is available in different shades – from nude to rosé and pink to bold red and orange shades – with a unique "real matt" finish.

Catrice discontinued their entire Demi Matt line and introduced these lipsticks, which to me are exactly the same, just the shade range had changed to a much better one and the lipstick shape is not as precise anymore, which is a shame. I loved the Demi Matt formula, I still consider it of the best I've tried and Vegan Collagen Matt is  obviously no exception. It's a richly pigmented, smooth formula that glides easily on the lips, isn't drying at all and has a semi-matte finish. I loved several shades, but I picked this one because it looked close to my favourite lip liner shades and it is very close on the lips, just a bit more beige, less pink, but it's one of those shades for my skin tone that is excellent for shaping the lips and it still looks natural. I might get more shades of these, we'll see.

*Peppermint Berry Glow Lip Balm
010 Mint Me, Berry You

A lip balm with a double wow effect: It not only combines colour & care on the lips, but is also an absolute eye-catcher! Thanks to the blueberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and peppermint oils and nourishing waxes, the balm guarantees soft, glowy lips. Once applied, it reacts with the pH value of the lips, softly covering and staining them in a unique pink. Its metallic, berry-coloured packaging and the ice blue on the inside also visibly highlight the special connection between berries and peppermint – and are sure to put us in the mood for summer.

I have the watermelon one which was released 6 month ago and that formula is so good. It’s by far by favourite lip product that reacts to pH. This one though, doesn’t feel as moisturising or soft as that one, also the colour is not as rich or “juicy-looking” on the lips, though it’s still moisturising and a good balmy product. It smells like peppermint and gently tingles my lips. Colour is about the same on me as the watermelon one, so a sheer magenta (watermelon is a bit warmer at application, but later they are the same) and it luckily doesn’t leave the dry patches of the lips stained like most such products do. The watermelon one is much better and still my recommendation for a pH product.

*Volumizing Extreme Lip Booster
030 N'Ice Bonbon

With optical teeth whitening effect. Ice bonbon flavor and scent. Vegan.

A minty clear gloss with blue shimmer that Catrice says has an optical teeth whitening effect - I don’t see it. It’s one of those stinging/tingling products that promises to make the lips fuller, but most of us aren’t that naive. Tingling is moderate compared to the panful Essence what the fake! Plumping Lip Filler I got in the last line update and it's cooling for about 10-15 minutes. Formula is nothing special, thin for my taste and could be glossier.

*Nail Repair Strengthening Ridge Filler

Perfected and strengthened nails in one – not a problem with the new and innovative Nail Repair Strengthening Ridge Filler. The formula with glycolic acid and the trend ingredient yuzu seed oil helps to strengthen the nail, reliably protects it from external influences and leaves it looking groomed and rejuvenated. The vegan texture of the Strengthening Ridge Filler dries quickly and gives the nails a natural look with its universal nude shade. The formula is free of microplastic particles, perfume and alcohol.

The name should clue you in about what this promises. My nails are strong and I have no ridges, so unfortunately I can’t tell you how well it works. It’s milky clear with one coat and about 80% opaque with three. Formula is smooth and easy to apply. I've been wearing for about t week and it's really holding well, however, it got a relatively strong yellow hue.

*Iconails Gel Lacquer
112 Dream me to NYC

A gel formula that applies very smoothly. One coat is almost enough for full coverage, on the pictures it’s two. It’s holding well on the nails even without a top coat. Dream me to NYC is an autumnal taupe shade, like one of those that were popular a few years ago.

*More Than Nude Translucent Effect Nail Polish
03 Dancing queen

A sheer, shimmer nail polish that needs many coats to be fully opaque. Application is easy due to a thin formula, but removal will leave you with some residue shimmer. It's the type of nail glitter nail polish which doesn't feel textured on the nails.

Youth Boost Serum

The Youth Boost Serum by CATRICE is an insider's tip for a youthful glow – and a real power package: With hyaluronic acid and bakuchiol as a gentle alternative to retinol, it ensures a radiant complexion and perfects the skin texture. It also provides a vegan alternative to collagen derived from the seyal acacia to replenish the skin with moisture. The pipette allows a simple and hygienic dosage. Apply the serum to your fingers and gently massage into the skin on your face.

This isn't one of the new products, it was a part of the spring launch, but it only now finally came in stock in my local Müller. It's been gone for a half a year, but I don't know if it due to popularity or Catrice's issue with stock. They focus on vegan collagen on the bottle, but the reason I bought it is bakuchiol. I have Revolution's 1% serum and I stopped using it because it made my skin odd, not in a sense that it was breaking out or that it irritated it, but it just wasn't smooth and soft to the touch, so I'm giving this version a go. It doesn't say the percentage of bakuchiol, just the 3% vegan collagen, which is a complex from Water, Propylene Glycol, Acacia Seyal Gum Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate and Ethylhexylglycerin. It's a lotion type of product that isn't best suited for a bottle with a dropper, but not that difficult to manage. It's a bit richer than serums usually are, so takes some time to completely sinki in. So far I haven't spotted anything significant after using this, but I like it more than Revolution, as my skin is in good condition.

Ingredients: aqua (water), ethylhexyl palmitate, glycerin, sodium stearoyl glutamate, hydrogenated ethylhexyl olivate, tapioca starch, cetearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, ethyl oleate, glyceryl stearate, hydrogenated olive oil unsaponifiables, palmitoyl tripeptide-5, ethyl stearate, ethyl palmitate, tocopheryl acetate, sodium hyaluronate, ethylhexylglycerin, pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate, xanthan gum, ethyl linoleate, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter unsaponifiables, bakuchiol, sodium phytate, alcohol, acacia seyal gum extract, citric acid, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, potassium sorbate, parfum (fragrance).

Youth Lip Serum

This 'beauty booster' is about to become an indispensable part of your skincare routine: The effective formula with 3 percent vegan collagen, VolulipTM by Sederma, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E visibly reduces fine lines on the lips, provides them with moisture and makes them look fuller. The lightweight texture of the serum absorbs quickly without leaving behind a sticky sensation. The spa treatment for perfectly pampered lips at home! The Lip Serum is free of parabens, microplastic particles, perfume and gluten. Beauty Tip: Massage the Youth Lip Serum onto the area around the lips with a gua sha or jade/rose quartz roller to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines.

This feels like they just put the Youth Boost face serum into a lip gloss packaging, though ingredients are different. It's a thin, creamy consistency that feels like skin care and not a typical lip balm/gloss. I don't find it very nourishing and disappears quickly from the lips. I can't say anything about the results, but Catrice also recommends this for the area around the mouth, which given the texture would work out ok. I expected something richer, like Esence's Lip Care Booster Lip Butter

Ingredients: isostearyl isostearate, aqua (water), glycerin, propylene glycol, sucrose laurate, glyceryl stearate citrate, tocopherol, sodium hyaluronate, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, portulaca pilosa extract, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, cetearyl ethylhexanoate, hydrogenated starch hydrolysate, sucrose dilaurate, sorbitan isostearate, sucrose trilaurate, sucrose cocoate, ethylhexylglycerin, alcohol, palmitoyl tripeptide-38, acacia seyal gum extract, phenoxyethanol, potassium sorbate.

Ja ta Camouflage cream in vsi korektorji tega tipa so pregosti za kaj drugega kot spot concealing. Prekrije vse, ampak meni izgleda preveč nenaraven.

Lušni odtenki so teh novih šmink. Me mika še kakšna.

Minty stvari tokrat res niso tok hude, sploh odkar sem preizkusila Essence What the Fake, ampak vseeno niso tok zanimive.
