L'OREAL PARIS True Match Radiant Serum Concealer
sobota, april 04, 2026Marketed as a hydrating concealer with a radiant finish, this formula had been on my radar for a while before I took a plunge. I swatched it a few times in the shop and it appeared to me a great formula for my dry skin, but applying it at home was a whole different story. It turned out quite unlike what I expected, as on my skin it behaves more like a standard matte concealer rather than a hydrating one and it's more similar to formulas such as Catrice's Liquid Camouflage. I’m disappointed. That said, matte concealers are often best-sellers, and it's likely this might be less matte or dry on other skin types. It’s definitely less drying than L’Oréal’s Infallible More Than Concealer.
Texture: It's got a deceptively light and fluid formula, which gave me the impression it'll work with my skin, but as soon as I begin blending, it lacks the smoothness that more moisturising formulas have.
Coverage and finish: Coverage is medium to full. It sets to quite a dry-looking, aging matte finish on me.
Shade: The one thing they got right is the shade, as it's nicely neutral and it doesn't lean to orange as L'Oreal's light shades sometimes do. 1N fits my very pale skin tone, but it's not the lightest shade I own.
Packaging: The applicator is well-designed for under-eye use and it's similar in shape to Revlon’s Candid concealer.
If you're looking for a hydrating formula that suits dry skin, this isn't it based on my experience. But if you like matte concealers, this might be better suited for you. At least their pale shade is nice.
