A serum with an active ingredient Melasyl that fights hyperpigmentation. There are some big promises about reducing dark spots, but I didn't notice major changes despite that I take plenty of pictures of my bare skin for foundation/concealer reviews where I could spot such things. Texture is very light, easy to apply and it absorbs instantly, yet the skin feels hydrated. It's a great formula for layering, which I always appreciate. It has a pleasant scent.

Repurchase: No. It's too expensive.

A serum with Neoglucosamine or Acetyl Glucosamine, a super hydrator with a supposed anti-ageing effect and it should also fade hyperpigmentation. It's more of lotion than a serum and it contains tiny shimmer. The latter creates an instant illuminating effect, but a weak one. I don't know if it does anything this that is says, but my skin is in nice condition and I like using it. I think I used up two before this one.

Repurchase: Yes, but I haven't seen it in DM anymore. I'm sure I'll find a replacement if it's gone.

I used this after every wash when I was bleaching my hair and came to a realisation it doesn't do much to prevent damage. My hair was breaking at the same rate, so Olaplex did nothing what it promises on my hair. It's a clear, light, gel-like liquid that spreads easily to a large area. I find my hair dries smoother when I use this, but it's not the only product I use after washing (Moroccanoil All-in-one leave-in also helps my hair be smoother).  

Repurchase: Likely not - N.6 is better as a leave-in. 

My favourite leave-in conditioner, which I use every time I wash my hair.  It does what it promises: leaves my hair hydrated much longer, my hair dries smoother, it's softer, this works as a heat protection and it has proteins.

Repurchase: Done.

This has a new packaging and name now, it's called Intense Smooth Serum. It's a similar product to the original Moroccanoil Treatment oil, but a bit thicker and it protects against heat, as well as smooths when used on dry hair.

Repurchase: I have a backup bottle, then we'll see. I'd like to have the original Treatment once I use up my oils. 

This is still one of my favourite hair oils. They changed the packaging since I last bought it and there's a smaller size available. This has a delightful amber-vanilla scent, a thick formula that's similar to Moroccanoil one and it's effective at keeping my hair hydrated longer if I apply it on damp hair before drying. But I mostly use it as a finishing product, so taming the hair and adding shine. 

The pump is from another product.

Repurchase: Done.

A silicone-oil in a spray version, pretty much the same as  La Croa Protect & Shine spray and Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Finish. It's an excellent detangler, it tames the hair and adds shine. The minus for me is its strong scent that reminds me of men's perfumes, I should add most people say they like the scent, including every one I've given this to smell.

Repurchase: La Croa is cheaper and easier to find, but yes if it were the only option.

I got this as a pre-wash treatment and I didn't expect it to be so light. The base is sunflower oil, then it has some argan, grapeseed, coconut and passionfruit seed oils. It's thin and smells like a furniture shop - unexpected for a mix of oils. It was ok in terms of effect, my hair was more nourished, but I repurchased Alverde's oil instead. 

Repurchase: Maybe. 

This was ok for the price, but as a Med product that is meant for very dry skin it didn't nourish the skin, it just didn't dry it out. Shower oils are a better choice. Scent was subtle. 

Repurchase: Maybe, it's cheap. I like the scent of their Pearl one. 

I buy this when my skin is very dry because it's the cheapest shower oil and decent for the price. It doesn't have the richest emulsion and the scent is bland, but I buy it every winter and use it instead of regular shower gels.  

Repurchase: Done.

Lidl’s answer to Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum /Cheirosa 62 scent. The shower gel is not as good of a dupe as Treacklemoon Brazillian Love, but still has quite a similar vanilla-pistachio-salted caramel scent. Formula is nothing special, quite thin, but it foams decently. 

Repurchase: No. 

Gentle, cheap, does the job, the bottle is big and the formula not too liquid. I was buying a more expensive brand for years and this works the same.

Repurchase: Done.

One of my favourite scrubs. It's creamy with no oily residue and the beads, though small, are far from sparse. It's not a harsh scrub, so nothing like sugar or salt ones, yet it does the job ok and it's not abrasive at all. The scent is typically for Dove a nice creamy that just makes showering a bit better. Such a nice pampering product.  

Repurchase: Yes. 

A good hand cream for dry skin - it has been very efficient at fixing the flaky dry skin and it worked quickly. Formula is medium thick and absorbs fast enough that I'm not annoyed by it.  It has no scent

Repurchase: Yes.

I buy these once in a while, though I never find them really impressive. These have a high percentage of AHA, but when they are worn it feels like nothing. After a week the skin slowly starts to peel off, it really takes a long time and it looks very unappealing, but a lot of the dead skin is removed - except where you need it most, on the roughest parts where the skin is thickest.

Repurchase: I'm sure I'll fall into temptation again only to be disappointed. 

I used this until it stopped working for me like all deodorant eventually do. It's a good stick deodorant, kept me fresh all day and it had a pleasant scent. It's very white like all such deodorants are. 

Repurchase: Likely in a while.

My regular anti-perspirant for the last few years, but I think it stopped working on me. It's otherwise a great formula that kept me fresh all day and it has a lovely powdery floral scent. It leaves white marks as all stick deodorants.

Repurchase: I have a spare, but I switched to 48 deo anti-pesrpirant with probiotics.

This was another very reliable formula with a pleasant retro powdery scent. But like the other two it stopped working on me. 

Repurchase: I'll give it a go in a while, but for now 48 is doing its job. 

I liked this, but with enough hydrating care under it. It can make my skin feel tight even in summer. Finish is matte when worn on its own and it has no scent. Formula is creamy, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy. It protected me well all summer.

Repurchase: Maybe.

I liked this one a lot. Formula was creamy, but it wasn't greasy and it left a subtle level of shine. It didn't irritate my eyes and protected me well. It worked under makeup.

Repurchase: Yes.

One of my favourite sunscreens. It's so light on the skin, not greasy, there no excessive sunscreen glow and it doesn't irritate my eyes. Texture is very liquid, so it's easy to apply and even layer if you want, plus there's no white cast. The only minus is the amount of alcohol.

Repurchase: I bought several of these a while ago and it's possible they made changes since. I'll buy whatever looks most similar.

A shampoo with great ingredients for damaged hair, as it has proteins, aminoacids, peptides, oils, a protective lipid. It foams well, the foam is dense (not like Olaplex n.4, but it beats regular shampoos), it's a bit nourishing and doesn't leave that squeaky clean feeling I dislike (because my hair is so dry). I've used it as every wash until I bought Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate one.

Repurchase: Yes, but I'll buy which ever will be cheaper, either this one, Redken or Olaplex.

One of my favourite shampoos. The formula is so thick and it creates a very rich, dense foam. I tend to leave it on for a couple of minutes before I rinse it off.

Repurchase: Yes.

A great drugstore line. My hair is properly nourished, it feels silky and the ends feel better. Both have a nice fruity tropical-ish scent.

Repurchase: Done for the conditioner, I haven't seen this Intensive Treatment with beads anywhere anymore.

A tinted hair mask that matches my natural hair colour pretty much perfectly (dark brown with a cool undertone), so I used it to hide my highlighted hair, waiting for my hair to grow which by now is almost completely natural, undyed. This washed out the slowest out of all masks I've tried, but it's also the darkest, which probably had something to do with long staying power. Formula is hydrating enough for my very dry hair.

Repurchase: Done, but I've got pretty much just natural hair left, so I won't need it much longer. It doesn't work on my natural hair.

It's not the most amazing conditioner in terms of visible results, but it's thick and good enough, though I much prefer the mask N.8.

Repurchase: I stocked up a while ago, but I probably won’t buy it again.

A great affordable hair mask with hydrolised proteins and aminoacids that does what more expensive stuff do. It makes my hair feels good - nourished and silky. Texture is easy to spread in a small amount, but it's only 100 ml, so my long hair I don't have it for many uses - luckily it's not that expensive compared to some brands.

Repurchase: Done.

This is one of the most impressive hair masks I've tried ever, but it's also very expensive, so naturally you should expect a lot. This made my hair soft like I used Olaplex overnight (0+3), it feels silky despite the fact this mask has no silicones and my hair stayed hydrated for almost a week.

Repurchase: The price is simply too high, so likely not.

A good mask for an affordable price. It reminds me of Pantene Repair mask and conditioner, as it leaves that slippery feeling on the hair that I like, plus it's nourishing enough. It's silicone free.

Repurchase: Done.

I never use this alone because on its own does nothing and it's not meant to be used that way. I was initially impressed, but less so by now. It offers no frizz control, it doesn't help my hair dry smoother and due to both those things, the shine isn't there either. It kind of works ok with Elizavecca, but to be fair Cer-100 does most of the job on its own.

Repurchase: I have another in my cupboard, but probably not.

I've used up many bottles of these. It's a liquid that emulsifies with water and massaging, turning into quite a nourishing formula that leaves a silky coat on the hair. It just so convenient and quick to use.

Repurchase: Done. The yellow version, but I've tried three and all are the same.

The cleansing oil I've been using for a few years. Formula is light and it doesn’t emulsify much, but it cleans well and removes makeup. It washes off completely and doesn't irritate my eyes. It’s not fragranced, instead it has a natural oil scent.

Repurchase: Yes.

My daily foamy cleanser. The blue one is the new version, but the formula feels the same. It's not an oil like the name says, it's a basic gel. It's gentle, effective, it doesn't irritate my eyes, it has no scent and it has nice ingredients. Plus the pump is handy.

Repurchase: Done.

A basic foam cleanser. The foam was watery for my liking, but it cleaned well. It didn't irritate my eyes, but this wasn't the best for my dry skin and to avoid a tight feeling I had to use something moisturising fast. It's more suited for a different skin type than mine.

Repurchase: No.

I've been using this  every day for years. It's a rich toner-like product with 95% ferments (galactomyces) and rest are niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin, adenosine and a handful of fillers. It has no scent. Its promise it to brighten and even out the skin tone, but I like it because it keeps my skin in good condition. 

Repurchase: Done.

A product I use every day. It's a hydrating liquid that's easy to layer and contains all the good stuff - ceramides, different versions of hyaluronic acid, extracts, aminoacids, cholesterol,…. Bottle has a generous 500 ml that lasts quite a while.

Repurchase: Done.

A rich toner-like product with 30% centella asiatica leaf water, Madecassoside, Ceramide, Panthenol, Aloe Vera, Betta-Glucan and several extracts - it's a repairing & hydrating product. I used this every day for a couple of years, but now I think it's discontinued, so I bought Purito's Wonder Releaf Centella Toner instead and it's pretty much the same.

This has 2% liposome retinal (0.02% active), ginseng extract (10%), niacinamide, adenosine, hyaluronic acid, cholesterol, ceramides, a peptide and a couple of oils/butters. It's a light moisturising lotion and it has a ginseng scent. I've used up two so far and it suits my skin.

Repurchase: Yes.

This one has 4% liposome retinal, niacinamide, some oils and extracts, ferments, hyaluronic acid and at the very end of the list vitamin C, bakuchiol and peptides. Texture is very similar to Beauty of Joseon eye cream. I use it all over the face just like BOJ one and it suits me, but like at that one I see no visible changes in my skin.

Repurchase: Yes.

I've used up two of these so far. I use this daily all over the face, but concentrated around the eyes. It has everything from hydrolysed collagen, niacinamide, centella asiatica, a ton of extracts, allantoin, adenosine, ceramides, peptides, arganine…. It's a medium thick cream and it sits on the skin for a time. I can't claim I noticed any "age-rewind" effects, but it suits me.

Repurchase: Done.

A brightening serum with niacinamide, tranexamic acid, kojic acid, vitamin C, glutathione, arganine and peptides. It's light, absorbs quickly and it's rich enough to be used on its own if desired. It keeps my skin in good condition.

Repurchase: Done.

My second bottle. I won't rave about it because honestly I see no visible difference, but I'm hoping at least it's slowing down the development of lines. It's a growth factor serum that promises a lot of things concerning visible aging, plus that is hydrates and strengthens skin's barrier. Texture is watery and it's easy to layer, so I use it daily as one of the first steps in the morning.

Repurchase: Done.

A serum with peptides. It's a light formula that's easy to layer, so I liked it. Whether it's did anything apart from a hydrating effect, I don't know.

Repurchase: Yes.

A 0.1% retinal serum. Formula is gentle and light enough, so easy to layer. Due to the presence of retinal it's bright yellow, which leaves a light tint on the skin. I've switched to The Ordinary's 0.2% Retinal, which is stronger.

Repurchase: Yes, but probably the 20 version.

An oily vitamin C product. It's a dry oil and a small amount doesn't spread to a large surface like oils do. There is the obnoxious kind of self-tan smell developing like at all ascorbic acid products (I always wash my hands straight away, but it still makes my hands smell like I held old metal). It has four forms of vitamin C, aside from ascorbic acid also ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, ascorbyl glucoside and ethyl ascorbic acid. I switched to Cerave's Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum.

Repurchase: it's not my favourite texture, so probably not.

A gel-lotion overnight mask with propolis and plenty of nice ingredients that I use very frequently. I don't think it makes my skin glow (its original promise), but it's deeply hydrating and calming, since it has a lot of centella asiatica. It's scent-free.

Repurchase: Done

A clear gel sleeping mask with ascorbic acid, ceramides, retinol and a bunch of peptides at the end of the list, while in the middle there are some extracts (including citrus). It has yellow particles suspended (vitamin C I think) in it refreshing feeling during application. It leaves the skin sticky, so the pillow sticks to the face and in the morning there’s still some of it on the face. There is a spoon added, so you can avoid touching the product in the pot with fingers. I found it hydrating and that's it.

Repurchase: Maybe.

Reviews for this were quite positive, so I was expecting a lot from it, but this is just no a good waterproof mascara. It doesn't just fail at holding the lashes curled, the lashes just drop down when you start applying this, despite investing several minutes in curling the lashes beforehand. It's also the only waterproof mascara I've tried that smudges and as soon as I wipe off the black line that smudges on my upper eyelid, it just reappears the next time I open my eyes. I have never encountered that even at regular mascaras. It adds a lot of volume because it's a type of formula that deposits a heavy coat on the lashes quickly, but it's poor at separation despite the silicone brush with a good length and position of bristles and you quickly get a spidery lash effect. Taking pictures of this mascara for a review was a nightmare.

I left it in the drawer for months and it's still bad. It behaves as a regular smudgy mascara with no hold, but it's equally hard to remove as waterproof mascaras. Just awful.

Just like the mascara, this didn't impress me. While it’s not quite as disappointing, the watery, partly sheer black formula and a hard, short, non-flexible applicator just don't deliver the results I'm used to from for example Catrice's eyeliners. It's hard to create a thin, precise line with this - actually impossible for my level of skill and the formula stays sheer in places even if I got over it again. I haven't tested how long it lasts, but it's not waterproof and the swatch on my hand was quite quickly removed with regular hand washing.
