This is a fairly new line of lip liners by Maybelline. It promises all the usual things - great staying power and a creamy, non-drying formula that delivers a smooth glide application without tugging. Based on this one shade, I can say they are very likeable, perhaps a step above the usual drugstore formulas. But Maybelline already has a great formula of lip liners, as their Color Sensational Lip Liner is one of my long-time favourites. This is a classic lip pencil that needs to be sharpened.
Formula is as promised - nicely creamy and it glides on the lips with ease. But that goes for most lip liners today. This stands out somewhat because the staying power is better than at most budget lipliners. After application if I try to rub the colour off the lips with fingers, only a small amount wipes off, so it lasts well on the lips, though it doesn't survive a meal completely intact (oils break it down, like all makeup). For comparison Revlon's Colorstay lip liners are a lot more resilient, but also not as creamy and smooth. Since this is a soft pencil, it needs to be sharpened quite frequently.
006 Line Leader is the type of colour I wear most, a muted nude-pink with some peachy tones and it looks great. I'm not sure if they have a corresponding lipstick (this formula was launched as a companion to their Lifter Gloss formula), I tend to always just wear a lipliner on its own, but it's a better version of SuperStay Ink Crayon in Lead the Way, as it's a half a shade lighter and more pink. It's very similar to their Color Sensational Lip Liner in Dusty Rose, it's just a hint more peach. Lifter Liners are available in 10 shades. I haven't seen them in person, as I ordered this one online, but I believe this is the lightest.
I don't know if they are in the shops here yet, but they are in some places abroad. Current price is about 8 €.
